Mounts, mounts, mounts! Early exploration for the GW2 expansion, Path of Fire.
Here’s some concepts and WIPs done for the recent expansion for GW2, Path of Fire. More sketchy things on my Artstation page.
The last image isn’t posted there however, it’s a quick doodle done to explain the idea behind the piece before it :)
Whoops, i meant to post these here a little while ago. This was a fun little series done for a friend’s project that became its own thing. All the shapes and personality of the characters are directly inspired by emotes, was itself a little fun design challenge for myself and a bit of a.. digging on the inside.

Clouded mind/baggage- Bubbles

Phobia/fear- Phoe-b and Phoe-e
This was done for the Artstation Ancient Civilizations Challenge, based on my spin on the tale of the Tortoise and the Hare. Did these 10 + lineups in a short sprint, was pretty nuts juggling time and i couldn’t sleep (mind was over excited with too many ideas). Colour pass was rushed :( But the challenge was extremely fun and i’m glad I got it done in time. Please take a look here for my thought process and sketches: https://www.artstation.com/contests/ancient-civilizations/challenges/14/submissions/14629

Big shout out to all the artists who chose my designs for the 3D phase, i was really surprised and moved– thank you! And many thanks to everyone who stopped by my thread and supported my journey
Also, Kotaku thank you for the feature!

Old animal studies, really enjoyed these.
Work done with Chris Bennett that was near and dear to us. Was the most fun i had with a Dota asset, and it got accepted in The International 2016 Collector’s Cache as the rarest item. Final sketchy thing was an idea for wards in the same theme, but we never got around to doing it. Complete pitch with Chris’s sweet animation:

To continue the train of old stuff– Some pieces from the first book i put together, drawings themselves are close to 10 years back now. Project slowed down significantly due to life stuff, but it’s currently undergoing major rework.
Top was done for charity for water.org. Called it Water Foxes. Idea:
In the darkest hours, she escapes into the sea of dreams to swim with the water foxes.
Bottom was done based on the number Ten. Idea… is too long, i’ll consider ranting here another time.
These two were done for conceptart.org challenges, back in the days.. good times.
